All of my friends know me as a gleek! If you don’t know what that is, it is basically a name you call yourslef if you are a fan of the hit tv show Glee.
Today i heard some really sad news saying that Cory Monteith who plays Finn Hudson in Glee passed away.
He was such an amazing actor and he and Lea Michele were so amazing together. My heart goes out to his family and friends and especially Lea Michele, i can’t even imagine the pain she is going through. He will be very missed.
Sorry i haven’t blogged for a while! I have been super busy starting my GCSE’S and stuff!
But I just had to tell you about my trip to Bicester .
I recently posted a post that was ‘Is designer too expensive?‘ and i agreed it was, but after going here I cannot disagree more!
We went one early Saturday morning at 9am and set off to Oxford and as soon as i stepped out i fell in love! the first shop i saw was Prada followed by Jimmy Choo followed by Dolce and Gabbana, all at sale prices!!! What more could a girl want? I spent an hour just looking but all the shop attendants were so lovely! None of that snobbish look they give you in other countires! My gran took me and we both cooed over a pink Michael Kors handbag but sadly we had to leave it in the shop
After this we spent some money! I bought 2 super cute DKNY tops, some Dolce and Gabbana jeans and a fab Versace top!
The other thing I loved was that this was an outlet meaning all items were on sale prices!!! My Versace top was only £12!! Can you believe it?? The overall price of my items would have been around £450 but we only spent £160! I saved over £125 on my Versace top! As a bargain and designer lover Bicester Village puts expenisve designer items hand in hand with cheap sale prices!
There are however, a few shops that still have items for £3000 which is still a little overpriced. However you can always find fabulous bargains such as i did with my £12 Versace top that saved me a whopping £125! My Dolce and Gabbana jeans were only £55 compared to thing original price of £184! After a while i started to think that £1000 down from £3000 is a great save even though it is way too much for a simple chiffon dress!
The Village itself is a snazzy set of streets all in uniform but each like a tardis! You go inside expecting a few racks but you are pleasently surprised with rows upon rows, racks upon racks of clothes, shoes and bags!!! Everyone there is so nice and kind and the Village as a whole is just a very nice place to go, even if you aren’t thinking of spending any money. As a teenager and a designer lover i was in heaven there! The shops included Jimmy Choo, Guess, Dolce and Gabbana, Dior, Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Michael Kors, Ted Baker, Alexander McQueen and so many more!
If you are a girl like me and adores bargains and designers then Bicester Village is a definite must!
As I haven’t done one for a whie I thought I would do a nail tutorial!
You can choose any colours but I chose a white nail art pen and a scented baby pink from Modlels Own.
First paint your nails your chosen colour in a even layer.
Next paint a line diagonally across the centre of your nail.
After that fill in the bottom half to create a triangle on half the nail.
Now for the fial detail, just add little dots just above the triangle.
I love these nails as they look really cute and i love the strawberry scented nails! Models own have crreated something amazing! It smells amazing as if I just want to eat it! It is a total must have for an nail art lover like me!
I went to westfields yesterday and bought a reaaaaaally cute Ted BAker toiletries bag! I had decided to treat myself!
It was £25.00. Was this to much for a toiletries bag? Or was it enough to pay for a designer brand?
Some people think that designer brands are just an overpriced brand with a fancy logo but is there more to it?
I felt great walking around westfields with a designer carrier in my arm to let people know what I had bought, doesn’t everyone??
Do you think designer brands are worth all the money or would you jut buy a cheap fake?
I love designers like Chanel, burberry and Louis Vuitton and would totally buy the clothes and bags if I had enough money but the thing is I don’t! To me it is just a wish and I might have to settle with a fake some day.
What do you think, are designer brands really with it or are they just a logo? please tell me what you think in the comments!
Don’t you just hate it when you have something really fun planned for a weekend and then something happens at that friend cat make t anymore?
Well that seems to be happening to me a lot recently. My best friend and I were supposed to go shopping yesterday and then it gets to the day and I get a text. Let me just tell you that the evening before that I had also letdown by a frond so I just knew what was coming. For some reason my mind seemed to foretell the future and 5 seconds later the thought had become a reality. I know it was not her fault as she was ill but I was so annoyed as I had gotten a great day lined up and I couldn’t go, let me tell you it is hard for me when I can’t go shopping once I have planned it! The thought of those cute red heels or the new blue dress still sitting on the shelf tore me apart but, hay ho there is always tomorrow (if those new shoes and dress haven’t already been taken!!)
Does this ever happen to you? Please feel free and comment below on those annoying little experiences!!
Okay so last Saturday I was a bridesmaid at my aunties wedding! It was so much fun and I loved dressing up for once!
It was so much fun and my auntie looked just beautiful! We had the ceremony which was lovely then went on to have a reaaaally Yuuumy lunch!!
I seriously cannot express how much I love the day enough! But I will just have to show you some pics instead!
These are my cousins (daughters if the bride) who looked adorable throughout the day, although I can’t say that about the hair which didn’t even last the wall down the isle!
This is the bride and groom who both looked amazing, I especially loved my aunties dress!!
This was the most awesome thing of all! It was so creative and special! For the favours my auntie made all the guests a bag of happiness! In each of the bags they has little objects to signify things. For example they had a heart so you will always be loved, a rock to always keep you grounded and, my most favourite of all, a bacci chocolate! Bacci means kisses in italian. These are little chocs that have little bits of nut inside but seriously taste like HEAVEN!!!! The only thing is, you can only get them in Italy, so when I saw them I did a mini victory dance and it made my day even a little bit more amazing!!!
Anyway my last photo will be this
This is me and my auntie just before we had to walk down the isle. I will cherish this photo forever as it described the day perfectly and is actually one of only a few of just me and my auntie together. I just really love the photo.
Thank you auntie Marianne and Paul for a beautiful day and hope you enjoy the rest of your life together.
(im really sorry for the smaller photos, they were from my iPod and i can’t change the size!!!)
