Scented Nail Art

11 May

As I haven’t done one for a whie I thought I would do a nail tutorial!

You can choose any colours but I chose a white nail art pen and a scented baby pink from Modlels Own.

First paint your nails your chosen colour in a even layer.

Next paint a line diagonally across the centre of your nail.

White strips

After that fill in the bottom half to create a triangle on half the nail.

Now for the fial detail, just add little dots just above the triangle.

I love these nails as they look really cute and i love the strawberry scented nails! Models own have crreated something amazing! It smells amazing as if I just want to eat it! It is a total must have for an nail art lover like me!

Watermelon Nails

17 Aug

Today im going to do a watermelon nail tutorial! I found a picture on pinterest and thought it looked really cool to do! It also is so simple and takes very little time to do!
(I couldn’t find my camera so i had to do it by my phone so sorry if the pics are not the best quality!)

Watermelon nails

First off, paint a pink base for the middle of the watermelon. It can be any type of pink but i prefer a dark pink. I used a nail varnish from MUA which is sooo good as they are all only £1!

Pink base

Now draw a thin layer of green on the tips to act as the ‘outer layer’ of the watermelon

After that, directly underneath the green, draw a thin white line.

White undertips

Now for the final touches paint little black dots or lines in the middle of your nail to act as the seeds.

Simple! Enjoy!

Ombre nails

7 Aug

I was on Pinterest a few days ago and I came across a pin about ombre nails. Naturally i pinned it then looked on the website! I just had to have a go! So here it is!

Ombre nails

Ombre nails

First choose 2 colours for your nails. I chose a mint colour and a darker turquoise.

Now paint your nail the lighter colour and wait until completely dry.

Lightest colour

After this paint onto a flat surface (newspaper or magazine i recommend as nail varnish is going on it) a pool of each colour, making sure each colour touches at the edge.

Pools of colour

Now with a toothpick swirl the colours together to get the ‘ombre’ affect.

After this, with a sponge dip it in the varnish a few times until evenly covered.

Now press over finger and press down. You can repeat this until you get the coverage you want.

Even coverage
When you have done this and your nails are dry get a cotton wool bud or brush, dip in acetone and wipe away the excess layers.

Pink tipped nails

31 Jul

Nail time again! I just did an amazing pink shades design. In the design i used Kiss pink nail artist paint and it worked amazingly! It dries so quickly but also the brush is thin enough to paint amazing nail designs!

But silly, silly me I forgot to take any pics so i will just have to try and show you without them!

Nails pink shades
It was very simple to do and only contained 3 different pinks.Simply paint your whole nail in the lightest colour first then let it dry.
Now paint your second shade on top of that, but 1/3 the way up this time, like in the pic.
Lastly after the 2nd shade has dried, paint your darkest (or brightest) colour on the tip!

Let it dry and voila! Enjoy!

aztec nails

1. Paint a layer of clear nail varnish onto your nails. When they are dry, coat it with a layer of white nail varnish.

2. After your coat has dried, paint on, using a black nail art pen, draw on any aztec design. You can find loads here on Pinterest!
I chose to start of with a half rectangle.

4. another good idea is doing your tips a bright colour and doing a design on that.

5. Another great idea is to add triangles to your designs.

The gallery- hands

27 Jun

This weeks promt for The Gallery is hands.

The only one thing i love more than fashion is my hands and having pretty nails!

Cat nails

These were one of my favorite nails because they looked pretty but really simple to do!
I have been told a few times that my hands are really nice and if this is true then i would love to become a hand model because apparently you can get looooads of money so that would be a plus!  I really enjoy painting my nails because its such a fun thing to do and i think this photo shows that really well!
