As I haven’t done one for a whie I thought I would do a nail tutorial!
You can choose any colours but I chose a white nail art pen and a scented baby pink from Modlels Own.
First paint your nails your chosen colour in a even layer.
Next paint a line diagonally across the centre of your nail.
After that fill in the bottom half to create a triangle on half the nail.
Now for the fial detail, just add little dots just above the triangle.
I love these nails as they look really cute and i love the strawberry scented nails! Models own have crreated something amazing! It smells amazing as if I just want to eat it! It is a total must have for an nail art lover like me!
I was on Pinterest a few days ago and I came across a pin about ombre nails. Naturally i pinned it then looked on the website! I just had to have a go! So here it is!
First choose 2 colours for your nails. I chose a mint colour and a darker turquoise.
Now paint your nail the lighter colour and wait until completely dry.
After this paint onto a flat surface (newspaper or magazine i recommend as nail varnish is going on it) a pool of each colour, making sure each colour touches at the edge.
Now with a toothpick swirl the colours together to get the ‘ombre’ affect.
After this, with a sponge dip it in the varnish a few times until evenly covered.
Now press over finger and press down. You can repeat this until you get the coverage you want.
When you have done this and your nails are dry get a cotton wool bud or brush, dip in acetone and wipe away the excess layers.
Nail time again! I just did an amazing pink shades design. In the design i used Kiss pink nail artist paint and it worked amazingly! It dries so quickly but also the brush is thin enough to paint amazing nail designs!
But silly, silly me I forgot to take any pics so i will just have to try and show you without them!
It was very simple to do and only contained 3 different pinks.Simply paint your whole nail in the lightest colour first then let it dry.
Now paint your second shade on top of that, but 1/3 the way up this time, like in the pic.
Lastly after the 2nd shade has dried, paint your darkest (or brightest) colour on the tip!
Let it dry and voila! Enjoy!
Sorry ive been away for so long!
Today im going to show you how to do Aztec nails!
1. Paint a layer of clear nail varnish onto your nails. When they are dry, coat it with a layer of white nail varnish.
2. After your coat has dried, paint on, using a black nail art pen, draw on any aztec design. You can find loads here on Pinterest!
I chose to start of with a half rectangle.
3. A great way to do an aztec design is to layer it. With different colours just draw on top of your black design.
4. another good idea is doing your tips a bright colour and doing a design on that.
5. Another great idea is to add triangles to your designs.
6. My last tip is to include dots in your design.
Enjoy! It looks difficult but actually pretty easy!
So today i decided to do another nail art tutorial. I saw this really simple design on Pinterest and thought it would be nice to do them.
First paint a layer of clear varnish onto your nails.
Now paint another layer on top of that (when it has dried). It can be any colour you like, i chose yellow.
After this layer have dried, draw half of your heart, anywhere on your nail using a nail art pen.
Now draw the other half of your heart.
Viola! Hand draw heart nails!
If you want, you can colour in your hearts but i left it at that!
P.s Don’t forget to let your nails dry!
Didn’t know what to write about today so i decided to choose a picture and write about it.
This is my nail varnish survivor kit or travel nail varnish kit. I find it extreeeemly useful and it look pretty as well! I put a clear varnish, varnish remover pads, nail art pen (black and another colour), nail picker and 3 different nail varnishes. I take it wherever i go, holidays, days out and just well, anywhere!
Today i’m going to show you how to do shirt tie nails! I tried them a few days ago and i have to say, they may be a little tricky but the outcome is well worth it!
Paint on a layer of clear nail varnish or base coat if you have any. I do this so it is easier to clean off and doesn’t discolour you nails! I used Models Own.
After it has dried, paint a layer of your chosen shirt colour on top. I used red but you might want to go original and have white, or just any colour you fancy!
After this, with a nail art pen (your choice of colour but I chose black), draw a dot in the center at the top. Now next to it on one side, draw a big loop and colour it in. Do this to the other side as well. You can buy nail art pens in Claire’s accessories
Now draw 3 dots in front of the tie.
To finish off colour in the tips of your nails in a thin arch.
Viola!! Your tutorial to tie shirt nails! 😀
